Christiane Love is an intuitive textile artist, yogi and mother to three boys. Ms. love began sewing at the young age of five years old under the tutelage of her mother and Nana who were both very talented seamstresses. Ms. love excelled at art during high school and attend Murray State University where she graduated with honors receiving a BFA degree in textiles and fashion design. It was during her university days that Ms. Love was introduced to the practice of yoga. After graduation Ms. Love worked as a costume designer and stitcher for several theaters while she continued to evolve her yoga practice and teaching. Christiane Love voraciously researched the metaphysical and slowly began to allow the answers to flow into her experience.
Christiane Love now lives in paradise on the island of Kauai, Hawaii with her three boys. Silk and Cotton was born in 2015 as a creative outlet for the inspired designs that flooded Ms. Love daily. The original artwork that flows from Christiane Love contains ancient symbols used for centuries to uplift the user to a higher vibration. Each design decorating the silk and cotton used is a powerful reminder that we are source energy itself. Wearing this reminder makes a statement of who we truly are, spirit, limitless, devine.
